Transactional advice initial work

We realise that not everyone wants a full financial review, so have compiled a full list of our services and costs for each transaction so that you can simply choose the area of advice that interests you.

The following table gives a comprehensive guide to the costs for our one off advice transactions for our advice. You will notice that there is some variance in some of the cost bandings,  to allow for complexity of work requirements from case to case. Once we've had our initial consultation meeting, will will quote an exact fee for the job in hand, prior to commencement of any work.  

With mortgages in particular, our consultation meeting goes through how we are paid for our work on research, advice and carrying through the transactional work, as well outlining to you the specific work we carry out. Quite often, if you are happy to arrange your insurance protection through us, we can either waive any fee that we might usually charge (subject to the clawback terms mentioned beneath the tables below), or reduce it accordingly. Much will depend on the size of the mortgage, as it is this element that dictates how much the lender will pay us as an introductory fee. In short, the more lenders pay us as an introductory fee, the less we have to charge you. An added consideration each time is the complexity of your circumstances, which if more difficult that the average case, may need more of our time to be spent on it. Likewise, a perrenial problem is that a transaction may not complete for a variety of reasons outside our control, and we will therefore not receive an introductory fee in these circumstances. Will all this in mind, for mortgage advice and transactional work we will quote for any fees we have to charge well in advance of any commencement of work.

Any fees quoted in the mortgage tables below are generally in addition to the introductory fee paid to us by the lenders, both of which normally cover our time and expertise.
